flowing materials weighing between 20 and 60 pounds per cubic foot.

Directions to arrive at a price for a
Kelly Duplex Vertical Feed / Seed Mixer
- Review
Section 1: Standard Features
- Select
the base mixer from Section 2: Pricing of Standard Feed / Seed Mixer
- Add
the price of a motor (if desired) from Section 3: Mixer Motors
- Add
the price of accessory items (if desired) from Section 4: Accessory
Equipment. Note: mixers are not supplied with discharges as standard
equipment. A discharge must be selected from this section.
- Add
the price of the bagging scale modification (Section 5) and/or the
screw feeder modification (section 6) (if desired). Note: the screw
feeders are not supplied with motors, to add a motor to a screw feeder
use the pricing in Section 3: Mixer Motors.

1: Standard Features
The
section details the features included in a standard vertical feed/seed
mixer.
Section
2: Pricing of standard Feed / Seed Mixers
This section contains the sizing information for
selecting a mixer and the base price. The price listed in this section
includes a drive but does not include a motor or discharge. For motor
pricing reference Section 3, for discharge
options and pricing reference Section 4.
Section
3: Mixer Motors
The base price of the vertical mixer includes a motor
mount for the selected motor, a motor mounted drive sheave, a mixer
mounted driven sheave, and a set of V-belts. The totally enclosed drive
shield is also included in the base price of the mixer. Motors are priced
in this section (Section 3). Mixer drives are listed for reference only.
Listed motors are 3 phase, 60 Hertz, 230/460 VAC, TEFC, standard NEMA foot
mounted motors suitable for most mixer drives. To arrive at the price of a
mixer with drive and motor simply add the price of the motor from this
section to the price of the mixer from Section 2.
Section
4: Accessory Equipment
Add the price of the accessory item from this section
(Section 4) to the base price of the mixer from Section
2. (Note: these prices are available only with the purchase of a new
vertical mixer.) If you select a spray ring, please consult with the
factory concerning mixer drive size. It is generally advisable to use the
next size larger motor and drive than the standard motor and drive.

5: Bagging Scale Modification for Vertical Mixer
The
vertical mixer can be modified to accept a mixer mounted bagging scale.
The mixer downtube is extended 32 to accommodate a GB-32 bagging scale.
Modification includes a special scale discharge spout. Price includes a
longer and strengthened mixer spiral and downtube. Price does not include
the bagging scale. (See JEM International, Inc.: 800-255-6384, for direct
purchase of bagging scale and desired accessories.) Add
the price of the bagging scale modification from this section (Section 5)
to the base price of the
mixer from Section 2.
Section
6: Screw Feeder for Loading Vertical Mixer
Use this section for optional factory installed
above-the-floor screw feeder, including screw trough, shroud, stepped
pitch flighting, trough cover, nominal 24 x 48 inlet hopper with
2 x 2 protective grate, and screw feeder drive with no motor. The
bottom of the screw feeder enters the mixer downtube 6 above the mixer
floorplate. The screw feeder is offered either in place of the standard
mixer inlet hopper, or in addition to the standard mixer inlet hopper. To
arrive at the price of a mixer with listed screw feeder, simply add the
price of the selected screw feeder item in this section (Section 6) to the
base price of the mixer from Section 2. To
include a motor with the screw feeder drive reference motor prices in Section
3.
